Gal holds a B.A. in History and Education (Cum Laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is currently pursuing complementary studies towards a Master's degree in Psychology at Tel Aviv University.
Gal has held a number of research and fund-raising positions in the NGO sector, mostly with organizations working to promote entrepreneurship among women and social rights for asylum seekers. She also volunteers as a Hebrew teacher for adults at the Levinsky Library.
